For this animation exercise, we have to open a Sidebar for the Graph

Editor. Place the mouse cursor above your Graph Editor when pressing

the N key to open that Sidebar.

At the Sidebar, open the Modifiers tab and add a Cycles modifier to the

curves. That creates an animation loop for your selected curves. You will

immediately see the difference with the curve visualization extending

before and after the original shape (Figure 8.6).

It is possible to control certain aspects of your loop at the Cycles

modifier options. At the Before and After options, you can control the

number of repetitions.

Using zero for both, you get the animation repeating forever, or you can

pick a number of repetitions to limit your loop. Below you can also

restrict the Start and End frames used for the loop.
